Southwest Yogurt Drizzle

This tasty homemade sauce is easy to make and brings flavor to any bowl or salad.  The fat free greek yogurt amps up protein while keeping the fat low in this satisfying and creamy dressing.

Ingredients:

3/4 C Fat Free Greek Yogurt ***

1/4 C Mayonnaise 

1/4 C Lime Juice (fresh squeezed if possible)

4 tsp. Mexican Spice Seasoning

1/2 tsp. Smoked Paprika

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine or place ingredients in a small blender to blend.  
  2. Drizzle over bowls or salads. 
  3. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. 

***For a fully fat free version:  Omit Mayonnaise and increase Fat Free Greek Yogurt to 1 Cup.

Meal Ideas:

Southwest Bowl:

Protein: Ground Turkey cooked with Mexican Spice Seasoning

Carbohydrate: Pinto Beans, drained and rinsed

Veggies: Mixed greens, diced cucumbers, diced bell peppers, diced red onions.
