Quinoa “Cliff” Cup

Want the energy of a Cliff Bar with less (or none) of the added sugar and processed ingredients?  This little cup is the perfect substitute.  

This snack is good for after a workout, before a workout, or any time you need a hearty snack.  It is packed with the best carbohydrates, protein and fats.  

Ingredients:

Cooked Quinoa

Almond Butter (or nut butter of choice)

Honey (optional)

Mini Chocolate Chips (optional)

Directions:

  1. Scoop some cooked quinoa into a small container.
  2. Add a spoonful or two of your favorite but butter.
  3. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chocolate (optional)
  4. Mix.  Enjoy right away with a spoon, or take it to go (pack your spoon too!)

How much to take?  This will depend on your hunger and macro needs.
